Maslows Hierarchy of Needs

My two latest posts on LinkedIn announcing that I had moved on from Continuum Attractions and subsequently set up HALO 2020 Consulting have really got me excited as to what the future will bring in my new career. Firstly I’d like to thank the 14,000 people from the LinkedIn community for viewing the posts and secondly I like to give a massive pat on the back to the 100’s of you who have liked or better still commented on the posts with the most positive comments and views that I could expect. I hope that I have managed to respond to all of you that have commented. If I happen to have missed one or two of you, I’m sorry but this will hopefully act as a sweep up.

The level of views and feedback have opened my eyes again to the power of LinkedIn for the business community, for those in employment, looking for employment and those in their own business wanting to engage with a broader community.

I’ve recently recalled some of my previous management training where we learnt about Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. The Hospitality industry has a limited ability to influence the Physiological Needs of people but the following four sectors are all within the capability of businesses to influence and act upon. The model is highlighted below and I wanted to share it wider for those that may not have come across it before so that you can focus on it within your business delivery and marketing.

Amongst many of my services HALO 2020 Consulting offers a mentoring service for businesses to tap in to my 30 years of experience across the Hospitality, Attractions & Leisure Operations. Check out the website for more information and how to contact me. www.halo2020.net
